Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sent me a video. I’m not kidding. I got a personal message from “The Rock”. More on that in a minute.
One of my favorite things of 2014 was the ability to serve as spokesperson for Milk Life. I have had the opportunity, and privilege, of working with Milk for about two years now, and I truly appreciate that relationship.
My year began with Milk making a large Milk donation to a local shelter that my school system was raising money and goods for. It was an amazing way to start the year.
I also had an opportunity (because of Milk and Life of Dad) to travel to New York City and be a part of the kickoff of the Great American Milk Drive with Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family. That trip, my first to NYC, was amazing, and the response to the GAMD has been amazing as well.
I have also been a Protein Fight Club Ambassador, had some fun with Star Wars Day and Blue Milk, and a number of other campaigns as well.
But this was different. I’ll be honest here and say that I have been sitting on this video for some time because I wasn’t sure if I should share it. I wasn’t sure how to share it. And, honestly, I have been smiling from ear to ear since I received it – and may have watched it a few (many) times.
“The Rock” sent me, The Super Milk Man, a video. A personal video. Here it is:
I don’t know what to say to that. The Rock, excuse me, DJ liked my video. He even complimented me. Took time out of his day to send me a message. This is pretty cool.
I have enjoyed being a Milk ambassador, and look forward to continuing to be one. Maybe we can even kick it up a notch. Maybe…wait for it: Maybe The Rock and I could be Milk Life TAG TEAM PARTNERS!
I might have to hit the weights a little harder. According to Twitter, DJ makes full use of the 8 grams of protein and 9 essential vitamins of Milk by working out at 4 AM. Yep 4. That’s actually one of the many things I admire about DJ – his drive and commitment. It seems unshakable.
Which would make him the best option for a tag team partner for me. Hold on, he does say “I’ll talk to you soon”. Does this mean that he might consider me as a partner for Wrestlemania? I gotta get ready.
Very cool. Glad you decided to share.
I hemmed and hawed about it a bunch. Lol. Thanks for checking it out.
Very cool Cap’n! Good job – nothing wrong with letting the Rock tell everyone how awesome he thinks you are. Thanks for sharing.
Heyooooh! Super cool. Keep doin what you do, Captain!
Thanks, brother! Happy New Year!
Gotta say – that is pretty sweet, Creed.
Thanks! I won’t lie- it caught me by surprise.
So sweet and he’s right!!
You are too kind, Shelly!
