Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. I’m very proud to announce that I am an ambassador for Memory Web. Keep it locked here and on Instagram #mwoctoberchallenge for information about the app and a giveaway later this month.
They say that a picture can tell a thousand words. Well, I carry millions of words, and memories, with me everywhere I go.
Almost a year ago, I had the opportunity meet the owners and developers of Memory Web at Dad 2.0 Summit. It was their launch, and what better place to share an app meant to keep and share the memories that we collect on a daily basis? Chris and Nancy encouraged me to check out their app – and I’m glad I did.
Not only has using the app actually freed up space on my phone, but it has also given me more access to pictures – some are actually older than I am. So I now have access to pictures of me as a child, my kids’ pictures, and much more in between. But wait there’s more…
Depending on what information you choose to keep in your photos (date, location, etc), the app will actually organize your photos by date and deliver a daily folder of pics from that date each year. It also will allow you to look at a map and see where you have memories. For example, let’s say you have a favorite vacation spot or some other attraction you like to visit (like the State Fair). Well, you can see all the pics you took in that location.
I also like the fact that it syncs with my FB and Instagram accounts. Now pictures I have been tagged in, but didn’t necessarily take, can be collected for me to see.
There are many cool aspects about this app that make your pictures functional. Instead of them being locked in a virtual box, they are compiled in a way that you can revisit and share those memories.
Stay tuned. I have much more to share – including a fun giveaway. In the meantime, please check out #mwoctoberchallenge. Have an October memory to share? Post it on Instagram and use the hashtag.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have more memories to make and pictures to capture. More soon. Captain out.
