I have partnered with Smile Brilliant Ventures for this post. While I have received product and compensation, my thoughts, words, and smile are my own. Please note that I am not a medical expert. Though I am sharing my experience with this product, you should seek the advice of your own dentist before beginning any program like this.
The rare toothless smile.
I like to smile. And while I will not say that I have ever been ashamed of my smile, I will fully admit that my smile has shown the traits of a coffee and soda drinker. Over the years, my teeth have yellowed. Again, that hasn’t stopped me from smiling, but I can definitely tell the effects that food and drink have had on my smile.
I’ve already written one post regarding the change that the Smile Brilliant system has had on my tooth care. Now it is time to take a peek at the change the system has had on my smile.
There is an entire page of reviews of other customers that have found success with the system. In looking at their results and mine, I’ve noticed a few things. Though I’m not a smoker or consistent wine drinker, I do drink coffee (daily), soda (occasionally), and eat some staining foods (far too often). All of these things obviously have an effect on the color of my teeth.
The one thing that I was concerned about was the fact that my teeth are sensitive. The cool thing? It did not take me long to get results from the system. Keeping in mind that I do have sensitive teeth, I was still able to use the whitening trays for extended periods of time.
I found the system easy to use, comfortable, and happy with the results thus far. I think what I am really excited about will be the smile that I get to flash when it comes time to take my staff picture in the fall.
In the meantime, there are some things that I have learned from my tooth whitening experience:
- I need to take better care of my teeth. This means not getting that sugary snack right before bed and also drinking more water rather than
- I need to improve my tooth maintenance routine. Teeth whitening is no substitute for brushing and flossing. I am seeing how those routines work really well in tandem.
- There are a lot of reasons to smile and in life we need to learn to smile fearlessly. And we need to do it more often.
If you are interested in checking out the Smile Brilliant system (again, be sure to check with your dentist first – I am not a medical expert:), kits range from $129-$159 and ship worldwide, please check out their website here. Keep in mind that the system comes with a guarantee – so while results may vary (that’s just science) this company fully backs that you will be satisfied with your results. So does this mean that the company is putting money where their mouth is, or putting money where your smile is? 🙂
In the meantime, I’m going to keep working on my smile. We will see how big and bright it is when it is time for this teacher to return to school.
